On the weeks when I'm working less though, I have been getting a bit more work done, either in the way of a few small code updates, working through players requests (damn you to hell Q!), or just discussing what evil things we will be doing to the players, with the other staff. (We had considered castrating all the males, but Nez didn't feel all that bitey...).
I know that we have fallen behind a bit, which typically happens with everything over the Christmas period, but we are catching up now, and the fruits of our labours are showing. The new nobles seem to be getting into their roles nicely, and we have just about decided on all the roles that were offered up recently.
That, tied in with the numbers of players we've been getting online more and more, there should be more RP than you can shake a stick at.
Hrm.. I had something else I wanted to talk about... But it's escaped me now, so I'll just bore you all with another entry when I remember! ]]>Mon, 19 Feb 2007 07:01:11 -0800Help Files.Staff Rambling However, if anyone comes across any other additions that are needed, you'll find a new topic in the Suggestions forum to post them in.
On another note - I've just started a new job, which is not only working from home, but pays well. So, I'll be watching the MUD more often, and during the day, GMT, you'll likely be able to get a response from me. ]]>Wed, 20 Dec 2006 07:21:54 -0800Languages, *** And New Staff.Staff Rambling Firstly, Vacuran and Anansi have settled very nicely into their Staff roles, and I'm sure players are finding staff availability has increased significantly. Along with the new Siegians, everything is running pretty smoothly now. I would like to point out however, that a decision given by Vacuran or Anansi should not be questioned just because they have given it. They are staff, plain and simple. That said, they haven't had to smite anyone yet...
Also recently, we've had the new language code go in, after much hard work from Cernunnos, and personally, I'm loving it. It will allow for so much more dynamics to the game, which previously had no coded support for, without the worry of people OOCly learning something. And once the final changes have gone in (details on Cernunnos' blog), it could also lead to some rather amusing RP.
Not much else to say at the moment... So... ]]>Mon, 16 Oct 2006 04:12:45 -0700
