Lately, I have seen a lot of petitions sent up. And I don't mean more players petitioning, as much as some of the same players sending up numerous petitions. I'm not sure if people are quite aware as to what the command is meant for, so I will give a brief outline:

It is meant for..

..contacting staff when their immediate attention is needed.
..contacting staff regarding sensitive IC information, that cannot be shared over OOC channels.
..responding to a tell, if the connection is broken.

It is not meant for..

..asking if staff are on. If you have an issue that needs to be discussed, please include the details of it in the petition.
..reporting bugs. Unless it is an immediate issue (such as the container weight bugs, which prevent you from moving).
..requesting puppets, echoes, divine intervention or indeed, for demands.

If your need to petition is reasonable, by all means, send up a petition. If a staff member is available, they will reply within a few minutes. If not, please do not send up a second, third, fourth... eigth or ninth petition. If you see a staff member becomes active some time after you petitioned, then yes, by all means, resend it, as it may have been missed.

In all other situations, email addresses for staff are <STAFF_NAME>@shadowsiege.com. Enquiries etc, can be emailed to any of us. (Not just Mina...)
